Equine Assisted Healing and Learning with TCM

Harnessing the Wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Equine Assisted Healing and Learning .

In our TCM approach to EAL we integrate the principles and techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to enhance the transformative power of equine-assisted experiences. Here’s a glimpse into our approach:

1. Meridian Mapping: We utilize TCM’s meridian system to identify energy pathways in the body and understand how they relate to specific emotions, organs, and areas of well-being. By incorporating meridian mapping into EAL sessions, we help participants gain a deeper understanding of their energetic imbalances and how they manifest in their lives.

2. Acupressure and Acupuncture Points: TCM recognizes specific points on the body that can be stimulated to promote healing and balance. In this individualized approach we introduce acupressure and acupuncture points relevant to the individual’s goals or challenges. Participants learn how to engage with these points in their interactions with horses, promoting relaxation, emotional release, and energetic alignment.

3. Five Element Theory: TCM’s Five Element Theory categorizes energy into five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water), each associated with specific qualities and aspects of health. We incorporate this theory into EAL sessions, helping participants explore their elemental imbalances and how they influence their interactions with horses and their own well-being.

4. Qi Cultivation and Movement: TCM emphasizes the cultivation and flow of Qi (energy) for optimal health. We integrate TCM-inspired exercises and movements into EAL sessions, allowing participants to engage in Qi cultivation practices and experience the benefits of enhanced energy flow and balance.

5. Self Help Guidance: TCM places great importance on nourishing the body ,mind and spirit with appropriate foods ,herbs and nutrients . We also encourage mindfulness practices to help support overall well-being.
We  offer support through TCM principles for promoting over all  holistic health for both humans and horses.

Our participants will delve into a profound journey of self-discovery, emotional healing, and energetic alignment, combining the transformative power of horses with the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine .
